(born in 1980) was a finalist on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 who achieved 1st runner up in the competition attaining 3,52,40,963 votes in the final, losing to aneek dhar, a decesion which immediately become controvertial when one of the judge "Ismail Darbar" stated tht Raja was the actual winner of the competition. Raja and Aneek had been rivals throughout the show, and finally Aneek was able to upstage Raja to win the most controvertial title of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 . Later he went on to win Ek Se Badhkar Ek (Zee TV) another singing and dancing programme aired on Zee TV, where he settled his score with Aneek who ended up fourth in that show
Early years
RAJA HASAN, comes from the desert city of Bikaner (chhotikashi) in Rajasthan. Raja who considers his father Rafik Sager and his grand father Allah Rakha Khan as his Guru in singing. His family belongs to the royal singers of the Jodhpur State thus singing comes naturally to Raja and he has brought this legacy to the international area.
Raja has three younger sisters along with his parents in his family. He learned the art of classical singing with the help of his father and grand father. Raja is popular in India and in the Middle East too. During his stage shows in abroad Raja has made people dance on his tune.
Raja has practiced the classical singing for almost 18 years. His first song at the age of 7 where he left everybody stunned with his amazing performance and the music Pandits had announced the advent of a true genius. Amitabh, Amir and Shahrukh Khan are the favorites of this shy, coy and handsome singer.
He is married and has lived in Mumbai for the past 8 years struggling as a singer before singing in Saregamapa 2007.
He recently participated in an Indian reality show that was telecasted on Sony. Ustadon ka Ustado where he won with a cash prize of Rs.10lakhs and Rs.1lakh cash voucher. He also sung "Darne Walo Ko" for Royal Film Company's newly dubbed film, The Real Don No. 1 that was released in March 2008. It's dubbed from Telugu film, Don.

Raja Hasan has recently participated in the zee tv show, Ek Se Badhkar Ek, where singers and dancers compete as jodis. Raja Hasan and Jasveer Kaur reached the final after much controversy resulting from judge Abhijeet. He also stated Aneek as his favourate singer but despite all these controversy "Raja And Jaswir" went on to win the competition. However on the other hand many felt that the judges on the show were not fare to them and the public voting results are more indicative of their actual performances. Overall it was proved again that the talented singer Raja Hasan does have a fan following

PLAYBACK SONGS BY RAJA
During Saregamapa 2007 itself Raja recorded a song under the music direction of Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for the Hindi version of the movie High School Musical 2.The song titled Aaja Nachle is already released and it is a chorus song but Raja's voice is clearly identifiable.
2) Raja Hasan had a successful world tour along with other contestants of Saregamapa 2007 however he was outclassed by all of the other singers on tour such as Aneek Dhar, Mauli Dave, and Sumedha Karmahe.
3) Raja's song Maari Teetri for the movie De Taali under the music direction of Vishal Shekhar is already out and is used extensively for the promotion of the movie. The film makers have spent Rs.2 crores to shoot the video for the song.
4) Raja have appeared on television many times. ZEE Rishton ka Utsav, Valentine day show on ZEE TV and in the serials Maayka, Ghar Ki Betiyaan, Antakshree, Rock the Dhun, Teen Bahuraniyan and the most important appearance was on ZEE Cine Awards where he showed his talent in front of the whole movie industry.
5) Besides he is a host for the Saregamapa Middle East which is being recorded in Dubai.
6) Raja Hasan's Rajasthani song Haatha Mein Haath Tharo for the movie Odh Li Chunariya is already released.
7) Raja has already recorded for:
1) Bhojpuri movie Bhole Shankar starring Mithun Chakraborty and Manoj Tiwari and directed by Pankaj Shukla.
2) My Friend Ganesha II which is going to be released in July.
3) Raja has also recorded a duet with Sunidhi Chuahan for the movie Do Not Disturb starring Govinda and Sushmita Sen and directed by non other then David Dhawan.
